Hi, I’m passionate about both education and aviation and am combining both of these passions together to help student pilots get their private pilot license. Here are some facts about me:

• 13 years of teaching experience, including 9 at the university level

• Education-related graduate degree

• Published 15 peer-reviewed papers related to syllabus design, student anxiety, motivation, and teaching methods

• Over 6,000 hours of classroom instruction given, with an additional 1,500 hours of online instruction.

• Private Pilot and Ground Instructor certificates in 2025

• Fluent in Japanese
